Rev. Adolfo Ocampo

Pastor Adolfo Ocampo was born in Mexico City, Mexico and came to know Christ at age 15. God touched his life at a difficult age and time and showed him through his Word that, by putting God first in all he would do, everything else would be added to his life (Mt. 6:33). That promise from the Bible came true! Some years ago he met Kristy, a pretty “gringa” from New York, and from this crazy but incredible union two beautiful Mexican-American “güeros” (“blondes”) were born: his older son David and little Lia, both of whom attend elementary school.

Pastor Adolfo studied at the Mexican Baptist Theological Seminary where he obtained a degree in Theology; he also has a Masters in Pastoral and Youth Ministry. In addition, he studied Law at UNAM (National Autonomous University of Mexico) and has a postgraduate degree. Nothing makes Pr. Adolfo happier than to see wasted lives transformed by the power of the Holy Spirit and the gospel into new and meaningful lives for his glory. He likes music a great deal and has composed several songs; he even recorded a professional CD in his country with his Christian group, “Filia.” Pr. Adolfo likes orange jello, pecan pie from Costco as well as their blueberry muffins. He also likes it when it snows, and loves to use his waterproof yellow Converse tennis shoes. He is a fan of the best soccer team of the continent: the Águilas de América. Pastor Adolfo came to FBCF in 2019 to shepherd the Spanish congregation.
